RE: Quique not going to France this year?
[quote]ORIGINAL: martinoto
I've been Quique's fan since he was 12 yo, and a member of Argentina's F3A Team. I also saw his father fly, representing the country too. Let me repeat it: I AM HIS FAN:
Please, excuse my poor English.... a friend of my make me realize that the first phrase of my post could drive to a confussion....
Allow me to clarify: I am not a member of Argentina's F3A Team (unfortuinately). I meant that I saw Quique fly when HE was a member at HIS 12.
Thanks for the opportunity, and sorry if somebody get it wrong, it was my fault.
Let me add also that I still keep the issue of Flying Models mag, when Dean Pappas made us all take notice of Quique, I think it was in 1985. He wrote:
"Keep on eye on Quique Somenzini from Argentina. If he competes and get recognition in the future, he will be World Champ one day."
Quique did not finished in the top ten that year, but obviously Dean saw something the rest of us did not perceived. Since that issue, I kept both eyes on Quique, and I am very proud I did. So, congratulations on your "discovery", Dean, whenever you are. I hope you prediction finally will be complete, and someday Quique will be F3A World Champ.
