RE: Setting Throttle Servo Throw
It kinda depends on the type of radio you have. the second option is closer but some radios also have separate kill buttons or switch functions.
Before we go any further it would help to know radio mfg and exact model.
If your radio has no "kill" features the normal procedure is to set the throttle stick and trim to minimum and have the eng kill at that point. Then after opening the trim approx 1/2 way you should be able to start and be adjust slightly for idle control. Naturally WOT will be at the extreme of full throttle stick. In many radios the trim has little/no effect at wot. You should make adjustment with the mechanical linkages as best you can before starting to do it electronically with EPA and other "special features".
