Dan,
I have a P60 with ECU ver 5.0 on single channel ops without a problem. I simply follow the instructions in the manual. Be sure to set your endpoints in the throttle channel to "75" on each side first. I use the switch on the TX face that is the inner one from the left side (not at home so I check what letter it is).
