Good point! I only drive the old girl when I want to play now. At the price of premium, she sits a lot while I drive something more economical. Actually though, she gets better mileage at 13 mpg than the stock, carbureted small block 350 powered Chevy trucks I have had.
But man, it sure is a thrill when you turn that big block loose! One time I hit second gear at near 7000 rpms and blew the drive shaft right out onto the pavement! (With an automatic trans!)
