Considering the cost (profit margin) involved in factory conversions, it would be a very expensive kit. $700 for a MBX5 prospec + $260 for the conversion would be cost prohibitive to the consumer...$900-$1000 for a dual purpose roller[X(].
I'm holding out for a factory truggy that will be sold as a true pro level kit, unassembled with all the upgrade parts included. The Jammin ST looks to be a contender, as does the Mayhem truggy...too bad they are marketed as RTR only.
As a side note...the conversion kits dont offer the durability and handling of the long arm truggies like the Hot Bodies,Jammin ,or Mayhem.
The longer suspension arms hold up better than extended stub axles, and the articulation of the longer arms gives these truggies the ability to stay shiny side up in situations that would have any other vehicle on its lid.[8D]
