I used to pinch the fuel line all the time until i decided to put my thumb over the exhaust stinger one day when the body was on. Stopped MUCH quicker, and was easier to do. I pinch the fuel line when I have the body off, but its practically impossible when its on.

You don't need a special tool, just use a thumb, its stops fast enough that it won't burn you.
