For a first time small gasser it's hard to go wrong with a G-26. Either the stock version or one modified by RCIGN. A little more research and you would find that just about all the people that have had problems failed to follow the instruction manual in the mounting position of the prop. Any of the Zenoah line of engines, with just a little care and avoidance of the ground, will like as not live longer that you will. The price is good and overall they are in the upper echelon of the engine manufacturers. They may not be hot rods, but they are extremely reliable. That more than I can say for at least two of the other engines mentioned in this thread.
