First things first ... don't fly the Twist with a minimum sized motor ... Mine has a Saito FA-80 (OH YEAH) ... Unlimited Vert and enough power on reserve to get me OUT of trouble when I need it. Now, I am swinging a 15x4W APC 3D Prop, so I had to put .90 sied wheels on my gear to get the nose up to avoid prop strikes, but I only need about 3 feet roll-out before I am full vert.

Next ... How do YOU plan on flying the twist? If you are going to just putter arround the field, then make her a bit nose heavy and go ubber light on your control throws. Now ... If you plan on ripping a hole in the sky with massive 3D high alpha manuvers then make it tail heavy and set your high rates up to "barn door" throws ... as much trow as you can get ... in fact, I put longer servo arms on mine for near 80 degree elevator.

Ask any TOC or Nats Pilot how they set up their planes for 3D and most will tell you "tail heavy to the point where it is almost unflyable!".
