RE: GP .46 Giles---Misc Stuff
For all Giles owners, here is the result of the autopsy. The giles found ground with the nose at a 45 degree angle between nose and left wing. The tail section is completely intact. The suspect weak point of the fuse behing the wing saddle resisted the impact. Damage in that point is minimal compared to the landing gear section. You can see the right wing is also intact. The nylon bolts resisted the impact. Due to space constraints, I will post additional photos in a second post.
