I've looked at a few of the Model Tech ARFs, and they seem like they're a good value for the money. The built up nose on the P-51 was nice, but was built for right thrust, which I am no fan of.

Personally I can think of no reason for modifying the insignias on a German aircraft. It's a piece of history, and covering it up or stamping it out is a futile gesture. I have a WWII "Nazi" Mauser that still has the Waffenampts on it. Doesn't make the rifle evil, but in fact more desireable, as many countries that acquired these arms after the war removed the markings or stamped them out.

The funny thing is, my wife is Jewish. I asked her if having that particular rifle in the house would bother her. She thought for a moment, and replied "I think it is fitting for that rifle to end up in our house". Kind of like the "last laugh".

German aircraft models? They're just renderings of historical airplanes. Nothing more.
