Greetings all,
I'm new to this hobby, and recently bought a dragonfly 4 (the cheap 4-channel one). I've read through the instruction, but have difficulty in starting the flight.
The instruction saids when I switch on the heli, the main rotor won't start. Then I should pull the throttle to the lowest position, then switch on the transmitter. I did the same, and almost got my fingers chopped off [&:]. The sec. I swtiched on the heli, the main rotor spins.
Learning from that mistake, I switched on the transmitter first, pulling the throttle to the lowest position, then switched on the heli. But same thing happen, the main rotor will just start spinning. Is that normal?
Being a newbie, I thought I'm over reacted with this, so I tried the transmitter, checking with the servos etc. The servos are responding correctly, but when I play with the throttle side (mine is on the left hand side stick), the main rotor will just spin with the same speed. Is that normal? I thought the main rotor will synconized with the tail rotor, cause the instruction manual said as i pull the throttle up, the tail rotor will start to spin as well.
Anyways, I took it back home and play around with the connection, and the original connection doesn't seems to be wrong. I've burnt the tail motor while I'm trying things

, how should I get a replacement tail motor?
