Hi I'm just beginning to build my e Starter. Here's my question. When cutting the ailerons from the wings, should I cut squarely at the end of the wing and then trim off from the ailerons and if so should I taper to the contours or keep it square?
This is my first plane of this type and I am nervous that I will cut away more than I'm suppose to.
Yes do exactly that! Just a waring. be very careful to get the aileron control rod as close to center as possible. If they are already in, run a line fron the control rod to center on the other end of the aileron mounting space. This will "split the diffrence."
