The AMA does not govern what is done with RC planes anywhere but at AMA facilities.
There is no such thing as an AMA faciltiy. AMA covers you all of the time.
If he hit someone and had AMA coverage, do you think for a minute the AMA would not get sued?? And would likely have to pay a lot to someone (lawyers, etc) to get out of it?
If he is not in the AMA, then AMA would never get sued.
