Default Telebee 701 and 6xa setup

The throttle thing sounds about right! How high are you hovering? If you are lower to the ground the heli might be disturbing the air too much. I would try to hover it a bit higher and see if it helps. No matter what you are almost constantly moving the sticks.

I too have a Telebee and had many questions at first. I set mine up by setting up the HH first, and then physically adjusting the tail rod linkage for non HH mode. I found that if you switch from HH to Non HH and the tail drifts you can't correct it with your trim because it will wack off your HH setting so you have to adjust the rod length on the tail. I have heard that it is harder to take off and land in HH mode soI have never tried it. I usually start in Non HH mode until I am hovering and then switch to HH mode and idle up with the same switch. When I come in to land I flip the switch back to Normal and non HH modes. THe 6ax might not have the feature to allow you to set two modes on one switch? This is just the way I found easiest to fly. You and others may not. I have only been flying for a year and I am always open to suggestions. One other suggestion is to make sure your Telebee has the foam padding inside the case to save it from breaking during flight!
