No, most of the local hobby shops here sell the composite/fiberglass Trex blades and shogun blades for about $45 a set. The carbon fiber ones are running $70.

Blades for E-flite Blade top out at around $17 bucks for the wooden symmetricals. Ive never seen Shogun or Trex blades that cheap. The parts for both of them are fairly cheap, but you'll probably be replacing a lot more on a Trex or Shogun.

All my point is, is that crashing is going to nickel and dime you to death, no matter which heli you have.
