My avitar is a pic of my highly modified Lanier Cap I built from a kit. It is a laser cut kit with foam core wings and stabs. I was able to lighten it and came out 14.5 lbs with a DA50. 1275 sq in of wing made this plane a serious performer. Also with the kit version you can customize the size of all of the control surfaces. Unfortunately my plane met its end from radio inerference.
