The Seagull model ,was what I had. simply put -the goal of making it a scale, sturdy model got in the way of making it a brilliant acrobat.
Same on the horrible CAP kits produced by various mfgs
The CAP (any model)is an extremely good aerobat with no snappy tendencies -except for those grossly over weight things fobbed of on the unsuspecting model public.
Our 1984 CAP 20 design was 925 squares and typically weighed 9-10 lbs -
built by some -they weighed up to 13 lbs and that killed em.
Our last 1300 sq incher was 13 lbs - that ratio works.
