ORIGINAL: EXTRA ADDICT
If I am not mistaken the nitro will actually cool the engine if tuned properly. I have seen this in race cars that have been converted from gas to alcohol. My saito 82 would actually form condensation on the intake tube when I was running 30% nitro in it.
I can be wrong here, but I think it is the alcohol in the fuel that helps with the cooling the most.
I went the route of a Perry pump and a straight pipe. It was the best decision I ever made as the engine runs without a hicup from full tank to empty. Basicly any possibility of the engine leaning out as the tank runs out is eliminated
