Got back into town on Friday and picked up the truck, 3 gears inside the tranny had lost teeth and one of the shafts got bent.
The Australian distributor said it was from changing directions under load, but I don't believe that I did this, though I did change directions on one of the earlier tanks of fuel, just before the truck came to a complete stop, so I may have done some damaged then and it subsequently failed 2 tanks later.
Put the last break-in tank of fuel through the engine and then took it out on Saturday, had problems with the new nimh batteries that I got on Friday not charging fully so only got to have one run.
Went out on Sunday and just after starting driving the truck, I had a runaway, engine went to full revs, managed to turn the truck around and stop it with my foot, all 4 wheels madly spinning, after wrestling with the truck for a while I was able to pinch the fuel line and shut it down.
When I checked the throttle\brake servo, I found that it has stopped working altogether, plugged one of the other servos into the electronic failsafe and it worked fine.
So back to the dealer again on Monday to try to get Warranty on the servo.
