I think the O.S. 1.6 will do fine, if you are looking for scale performance. If you want unlimited vertical go gas, if you want great vertical and a glow engine then get a Moki 2.1. I have bought a US Engines 41cc for mine, I am not expecting stellar vertical performance nor do I want it for a Pitts.

Serge1. $40.00 a gallon?? Where are you buying your fuel? I pay $26 Canadian for 15% fuel, Powermaster, Byron, Morgan its all the same price at my local shop.

Dam you have great deals... I got my fuel from CMR at St-jerome quebec. Paid 37$ with taxes (four stroke fuel)... You got a US 41
for your pitts?? Good engine but you will be decepointed with that
combo. I did the same when I got my pitts and the US engine barely pull away the big plane. Also that engine won't get you
out of trouble. That big pitts needs a lot of power and speed to fly well. If you upgrade your engine dont forget to pin the
firewall and put some fiberglass on weak point. The OS is
a great engine but not for that planes. With the OS in the
nose you need a tons of weight to balance the plane.

Just my 2 cents.

BTW, Nice website!
