Default RE: Drop Tests....

ORIGINAL: lov2flyrc

As some of you may know, my "paying" employment is for a full scale aircraft manufacturer. We are currently in the process of building one of our airframes for load testing to destruction in preperation for our next revision to be certified. Our engineer, a good friend of Curtis Pitts (who passed away just a few weeks ago [], may he RIP) provided me some of Mr Pitts notes to review the formulas used during testing of the S-2 components.
I found something quite ineteresting on this one document that had nothing to do with the formula at all. Appears Mr Pitts had a great sense of humor as well ....can anyone spot it?

Not the first time I've heard that comment made towards the FAA in my line of work.
