As some of you may know, my "paying" employment is for a full scale aircraft manufacturer. We are currently in the process of building one of our airframes for load testing to destruction in preperation for our next revision to be certified. Our engineer, a good friend of Curtis Pitts (who passed away just a few weeks ago [
], may he RIP) provided me some of Mr Pitts notes to review the formulas used during testing of the S-2 components.
I found something quite ineteresting on this one document that had nothing to do with the formula at all. Appears Mr Pitts had a great sense of humor as well ....can anyone spot it?

Must be an engineering joke.........
Hint would be good. For those struggling to read, let your mouse pointer rest for a few seconds and you get an icon which once pressed enlarges all.
So you can see clear as a bell, or is it hear as sharp as a needle... anyways, you've got me on that Todd a hint would help!!

That's pretty good. I had a classmate do the same thing with a poem that was printed in the school year book. Needless to say, the book got printed and distributed before anyone caught it. I don't think he got any real good recommendations from any administrators after that!!!

Not the first time I've heard that comment made towards the FAA in my line of work.
