there are sevral different ways depends on who you talk to the way i do it is thus;
adjust to factory settings(what the manual for motor said) the richen that up about an 1/8 turn yes it will be wayyyy fat(rich) but i think the motor needs it at first it will be hard to keep running so do it on a bench that way you can work throttle by hand be carefull not to over rev this can damage motor,run a tank through that way,then lean it out about a 1/8 turn then run sllllooooww circles for two tanks then start leaning it down to where it starts to over heat,a trained ear can detect this or a temp probe(my way is both) and when it starts over heating fatten it up a 1/8 turn that way you are a little rich but your motor is getting plenty of lube!
