RE: Hobbico's NEW gas boat 54" 24cc w/tuned pipe
Hmm seems that the drive hardware looks like decent stuff, and it looks like they paid some attention compared to Proboat. I see that they decided to water cool the header and pipe which is good and they even use a rubber isolator mount on the exhaust to keep ot from cracking. I am not real sure if I like the header setup but if it is a lot chaeper than the Proboat it looks like a better option to me. Still it will never compare to the gas boats that can be built it will be ok for a RTR hull.
Hpiguy..the only time my hulls get beached is when I fall asleep at the wheel. Better get yourself some boots and get in the water instead of beaching it......if you want the hull to last.
