Default RE: Rascal 40 inverted 2 stroke

I've got a Rascal 40 with a four stroke. My experiences might apply to two strokers, First, I installed a remote glow igniter, because of the awkwardness of attaching the glow igniter on the inverted engine. Second, I've found that if the airplane sits too long, fuel collects where the glow plug sits in the cylinder head, making it difficult, if not impossible to start. I always charge the battery the night before flying with the airplane upside down so the fuel doesn't collect, then at the field, start the engine/fly often so the fuel doesn't have time to collect. Other than that, no problems at all. Hope this helps.
