Bolly's can get loud......but its all a matter of putting more pitch on it....Mine is running at 6000ft and our motors don't perform as well up here. The Bolly 26-10 worked the best for my situation.....
The Menz S 24-10 was OK but was actually a bit loud. The Menz S 26-10 was too much prop and motor was not happy....the Mejzlik 26-10 was not good on performance side of the house in this specific application...The Mejzliks work great in other applications (pattern engines or different airframe or motor.....and same on the Menz.....

Each plane will react different to a prop...becasue of motor, weight, airframe......A giles or Edge may not like the same as a Cap of equal size and weight. Then add in what you as a pilot like in flying style.

God isn't it great to have different solutions and different options.
