A good friend in Alaska (Don) was going through his kit ( all 30 to 40 of them ) and found that he had two Cutlass 45 kits and in exchange for Beer's sent me one so that we can build the kit at about the same time.
Now Don and I love to mod a kit to try and make it fly maybe just a little better (or not
) so would like to give the readers a chance to tell us what they have done or would like to do with this kit.
This thread may be a bit slow to get going until next month when I plan to start ( Don to start someday after that
) But will endeavor to include Pics and tips along the way.
From reading other posts on the cutlass I see that it builds heavy, has a mean C/G to find and finding the right power plant seems to be a issue ( most power for the least weight in the .40 to .60 size )
So do join in and lets bash a kit into shape.
