With respect, the cases are not the same size.

Having said that, I do not know if an 8611 will fit into any specific mount, that obviously depends on the mount.

The size difference is small, but as I remember I had to open the mounts up slighty on a Bandit to make them fit.

I think the word "butcher" is very strong :-)
