RE: CA 27% extra
Won't be able to get your fingers in the CA to easily for a wing nut so pay attention to the area you do this. Also, if the rib is already attatched with the area cutout from manufacturing then your in business. Just cut a piece of 1/8th light ply to the same size as the lightening hole near the tube. Now carefully cut some of the wing foam away for a 1/4th piece of ply with the wing nut.
Put the wing on the plane mark the outline of the wing. Remove wing. From the exterior drill a 1/4" hole behind the wing tube (leave enough room so a fender washer will clear the wing tube) inline with the tube and rear pin. Now tape that piece of wood into the wing and slip it on the plane, mark through your hole onto the wing root. Remove wing, drill mark and epoxy the 1/4" ply sq with the blind nut to your 1/8th ply back side. When dry slip the piece into place with plenty of epoxy or poly glue, slide the wing on (with waxpaper between fuse and wing) bring wing all the way to fuse till fit tight. Put a little vaseline on a 1/4x20 bolt that is just long enough to go through fuse, wing root and blind nut and screw it into fuse. Secure wing and let dry. When dry remove bolt, wing and tube, clean joint of any unwanted glue. Slide wing back on and check fit. If it is ok then just make a 1" disk or plate to go over fuse hole on inside and redrill for extra strenghth. If not open hole in fuse for a good fit, then glue the disk with a 1/4" hole to the inside to align everything.
Remember this bolt is under mostly tension so it will hold if the glue is set good. I have witnessed the heads popping off a nylon bolt in this fashion from a little bending of the fuse sides so consider this.
A good back up is drilling a 3/32 hole in the rear pin top to bottom and just slipping a cotter pin in to to catch if the bolt breaks or backs out.
Good luck with which ever method you use..
