Tower Uproar
I'm posting this here for the sake of newcomers interested in the Uproar as a second or third kit. I recently maidend an Uproar 40 with a Tiger Shark .39 With controls throws set as recommended this thing is very docile. Anyone with high wing aileron experience should have no problems with the transition. Once comfortable, increase the throws as desired. Just remember that it doesn't have the self-righting tendancies of your trainer. It has no bad habits even though it has no dihedral. It's semi-symmetrical aifoil is magic. Keep a couple of clicks of throttle 'till your over the numbers because it's wing is very thick. It bleeds-off airspeed quickly when power is reduced. With some throttle management, however, you can drag this thing to your feet without tip-stalling. Align your ailerons with an invisible line from the center of the leading edge to the center of the trailing edge and you'll be fine. I know this sounds redundant, but when you look at the shape of the airfoil, you'll understand. Enjoy....Mark
