I almost picked up a weedwacker at Lowes today. They had about six with various problems such as missing parts or mention of rough idle, on closeout. They had Bolens and Toro which looked like the same engine 32cc, but the engines looked kinda big and had the carb on the back (not sure if that is a major problem). These were $25-$34. There was also a Cub Cadet 25cc for $50 which said it had a problem with the clutch cable. Didn't know these had a clutch or a cable. They had the same model new for $149 and it mentioed the chrome cylinder, dual bearings and fixed jet (wondered if that would be a problem). The engine seemed small and set up for an easy conversion. Thought I would check the RCU for any info. Anyone think it would be a good deal?
