I read that post, then I went and read the EF Yak manual. I still do not know what you refer to as "rails".

The Sukhoi has a composite canopy frame that mounts to the top of the fuse with 6 plywood tabs that must be glued into the frame sides. The canopy itself mounts into the frame from underneath making a very clean and simple installation.
