I've done several like that, Mac's and Echo's, I left part of the case on the rear of it to put 1/2 inch thick vibration isolators on it, this worked out great, little heavier than it could have been, but very strong. The mac, I cut it down like the one you did, and made an aluminum mount for it, works great as well. LOoks like you have some holes that go all the way through the crankcase? If thats what that is in the pic, should be easy to make a mount for it. ss
