Well, if you know a sailmaker you may get some polyester very light cloth. Look for something like a "drifter" material which is usually pretty light. They would also have some spinnaker cloth which is nylon and quite light but stretches a lot.

Does anyone know a sailmaker for models? I have an old sailboat I would like to find material or a set of sails for also so if anyone has any good ideas, let us both know.
