For my Gee Bee I used clear decal paper made by Avery, bought at the local office shop. I used Photoshop to make the designs. Try to squeeze as much as you can onto a sheet as they run 11 bucks for 6 sheets. The results are fantastic if you have a decent printer. The only problem I found was the sheet was not as sticky as I wanted, so I used some clear Monokote over each decal that was big enough to stick to the covering surface as well.
