My birthday is saturday and my g/f is wanting to get me something "nice" so shes going to get me a new plane.
I've never had an electric and my 2M *****cat still has some building time left before its done.
I think it would be cool to get an electric but I want to get a RTF
So what do you all reccomend?
I've been looking at the hangar9 Aspire however I'm kinda sceptical about using an AM radio, I see hitec makes two versions of this radio, one FM and one AM.

So does anyone have any first hand experience with these or something similar?
Also how well does using standard batteries work vs the nicads I'm used to?
I'm wanting a 2M built up (wood) construction.
