Default RE: How to attach the screen in the cowl for a scale radiator?

As far as window mesh (screen) the 2 types I know of are the flexible,(most common)it is actually a fiberglass mesh that has a dark grey coating on it.You can sand the coating off at the edges where you`ld like to make your bond then epoxy it down into place with a compatable epoxy. You can also get an aluminum screen, also for doors and windows, that is left in a natural finish. Check for it at window and door repair outlets,Home Depot, maybe. One more suggestion is if you would like to have a larger "square" go to a store that sells drywalling supplies and ask for the fiberglass tape that is used in the joints, between the sheets of drywall before the joint compound is applied. With this screen you can epoxy it down in a criss- cross pattern for a diamond shape( all can be done like this ).You can then prime and paint all these materials to get an effect that you would like to have(aluminum, brass, copper, whatever would like to do).Personally, I`d use a suitable epoxy for the bond. That just would be my 1`st choice.Hope I gave you a few ideas, always a good thing to have a few options!!......DAVE B.
