OK, well I spent a couple hours on this and now can easily take any QVR and convert it to AFPD within about 15 minutes using Fireworks/Photoshop and any basic photo stich.

I screen capped the moon from this website: http://www.panoramas.dk/ converted them to JPG's, then transferred the captures to Panorama Factory and within minutes I had the panorama. Resized the pano 8192 x proportional then filled in the blank space with matching colors after making sure the canvas size was 8192 x 4096. Then run the AFPD Installer ... that's it. There are hundreds of QVR's at this website. I can't find anything about use of the images, but I will find out. Times Square, NYC is going to be the next one!

Anyhow ... here is my first attempt of the moon. Going to make a better one as soon as I can.
