May want to get that prop off it. That is a slow flying plane with what looks like a fast flying prop.
already have changed the prob, that´s an old picture, but what do you mean by 'taping the gap' or flying wires I´m not quite following. I´ve though about reinforcing it with a small wooden block
Use some clear tape or covering material to seal the hinge gap.
