I was flying at 0700 this am and placed a 12x4 prop on my Extra. My fellow flier Willum once told me that a flater longer prop would slow down the landing approach. He was right. I was able to get in some on my best approaches and landing ever for this plane with a simple prop change. Now I actually have to keep a little power on just before touch down. The verticle is great but I don't think it will ever hover.
