Is it a Walkera Dragonfly 4?

They are only 4 channel. The switches are not connected inside.

And Dragonfly transmitters tend only to work with a specific Dragonfly receiver -

A Dragonfly 6 channel transmitter (has the knobs as well) will send 5 useable channels, but again only works with the DF 6 channel receiver.

Most Dragonfly RTF stuff is proprietary.

If you want to get something more, then buy a normal 6 channel transmitter, ideally one that supports heli's, and get a normal receiver... Then add a Gyro and ESCs.
That will add weight, but should work.

Also, E-sky is supposed to make some normal receiver units that add a gyro to the mix. Might be worth having a look at.
