Actually, I used the OS carb because I wanted to use a pump, as I mentioned I designed this A/C and wanted to mount the fuel tank on the CG.
The stock carb works great in non-pumped apps, I ran one for a couple of years in a goldberg Sukhoi. This same engine was the first engine on my new plane.
