RE: Venom SmartTemp Fail-safe
I am not going to flame anyone but please try to remember that there are some inexperienced members hear that do not have alot of tuning experience. For a new person getting into the hobby or somebody breaking in a new engine I strongly suggest the use of a temp gun. For those with alot of tuning experience do what you feel is right you know the risks involved and you also know what a proper smoke trail looks like.
As for the Venom temp gauge I have found that it works best between the block and the head. Not in between the cooling fins.
