As long as it has a resistor plug it should be OK. The 3W's an DA's use a non-resistor plug, that's why you see the shielded plug wire and cap. With that being said, I had a G-62 one time that I had to ground the ignition cap to the case to cure it. Look for something else like the throttle linkage, most guys use a ny-rod on a gas engine to prevent the signal from getting in the radio area. Bosch and NGK makes a resistor plug cap, can't hurt
