I have used the venom temps for a while and found them to be pretty accurate ... within about 10 degrees..I don't however use it exclusively to tell how an engine is running... my ears and eyes work better... a smoke trail and a screaming engine usually get the engine where i want it to be... Funny thing, I look at the temp and its around 260....
