Default DA100 throttle spring

I'll be honest. Haven't read the directions yet. Hve been out of gassers for a number of years.

Should I cut the hook on the throttle spring(keeping the spring in place so lateral movement of the butterfly doesn't happen) to allow free movement, or figure the force exerted is less than most control surfaces??

Will be using a JR 4131 for throttle servo.

thanx
