Default DA100 throttle spring

I'll be honest. Haven't read the directions yet. Hve been out of gassers for a number of years.

Should I cut the hook on the throttle spring(keeping the spring in place so lateral movement of the butterfly doesn't happen) to allow free movement, or figure the force exerted is less than most control surfaces??

Will be using a JR 4131 for throttle servo.

thanx

Leave the spring in place, and just bend the hook out of the way, so you can use it again should you change your mind.

I'd leave it alone... The tension is minimal and it preloads the servo so positive no slack throttle response is never an issue. And yes preloading the throttle plate is a good thing.

Might want to read the manual. They are pretty specific about what to do and why.
