Default RE: New engine, welcome home!!!

JIMBO is correct on getting a glass mold made up. I priced getting one made of my old 1/8 scale 1969 Dodge Daytona. Was told that the mold and 1 body would cost me about $500 but the mold was mind to do as I pleased. I did not want to take a chance of letting them have the body since it is over 30 years old and irreplaceable should it get damaged. Off the subject a little but the other night I received a phone call from a guy who just bought my old 1969 Dodge Daytona street car from it's 2nd owner since I sold it. Asked him how much he paid for it and I almost fell over when he said $90,000.00 USD. Everything on the car was as I had originally bought and sold it and it only had 29,000 miles.
As you can see because the car had all original parts it sold for a much higher price that what I had paid back in 1969 ($6,500.00+/-). So xknacx, DO NOT Paint the body or tempt driving it with the original Viper body on. GET THE FIBERGLASS BODY MADE!
