The AMA rule book leaves that as a local option, and most local racing groups either specify the Thunder Tiger Pro .40 or include the Thunder Tiger Pro .40 on a list of approved engines. But if you plan to race in Charleston, the best thing would be to check with the folks in Charleston just to make sure.
