The flywheel is already vestigal and the coil is quite small.Im pretty sure the CH conversion uses part of the existing coil setup too.The fins are fabricated not cast so there isnt much excess weight there to trim.I guess you could find ways of shedding a few ounces but there isnt anything major you can do.One of the real experts can tell you better than I but either of the popular conversions to electronic ignitions isnt going to add much to the top end.The gain is in starting,idle and smoother mid-range.
